SHREVEPORT/BOSSIER CITY, La. - How low can you go? For Debary, Fla., pro John Cox, the answer was low enough to skim through a shallow underpass that led to his Red River hot spot - one that produced a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 10 ounces and put him in first place on day one of the Walmart FLW Tour Major.

Red River redux

SHREVEPORT, La. - The FLW Tour was set to kick off its 2010 season on the Red River in northwestern Louisiana, but the tournament was canceled just days before the early February start date due to safety concerns about rising, cold water. But that was then, and this is now: The Walmart FLW Tour is officially rolling on the Red River in 2011 as of daybreak Thursday, when the full field of 140 boats began leaving the marina for day one of competition.
   
   
Walmart FLW Tour heads to Potomac River

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. - The Walmart FLW Tour on the Potomac River presented by National Guard will visit National Harbor, Md., June 2-5 for the sixth tournament of the season. Hosted by National Harbor, the tournament will feature more than 300 top bass anglers casting for top awards up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.
